Running a show
Put a show on a tablet or portable switcher
6-digit pairing and per-screen links for YoloLiv, Magewell Director and tablets.
Some devices, like YoloLiv and Magewell Director, make you type links on a small screen. Open Playout URL in your show for two ways in. Each show plays on up to 2 screens.
Pair with a code (easiest)
On the device, open gfx.miri.tech/tv. It shows a 6-digit code. In your show, type that code under Pair a device, give the device a name and click Pair. The device switches to your graphics by itself within a couple of seconds. Codes last 10 minutes and work once.
Helpful tips for switchers and tablets
Each browser input remembers its own pairing while it stays open — if it reloads, it goes straight back to its show. Inputs don't share this memory, so on a switcher like the Magewell Director each browser input can pair with a different show.
To pair an input to a different show, open gfx.miri.tech/tv?new=1 on that input — it forgets the old pairing and shows a fresh code.
A full power-off of the device may clear what the input remembers and bring back the code screen. For screens that should always come back on their own, paste that screen's own private link from the show's Playout URL window into the input instead of /tv.
Per-screen link
The Playout URL window always shows a fresh private link for the next screen. It belongs to whichever screen opens it first. Every screen appears in the list with its name and online status — Remove cuts that screen off instantly and its link stops working.
Pairing through a Local Hub
If you run the Local Hub, open http://<hub-address>:6474/tv on the device instead and enter its code on the Local Hub tab. Local screens don't use one of your 2 screen slots. See Local Hub.
