Running a show
The rundown, Preview, overlay layers 1–4, and clearing.
The rundown
Down the left is the running order. Add item opens a picker of your designs; drag rows to reorder, rename a row inline, and use the three-dot menu for duplicate and delete.
Preview and overlay layers 1–4
Every row has five small buttons: PVW, 1, 2, 3 and 4. There is no Take button — you switch each graphic on and off directly.
- PVW shows the graphic in the Preview monitor only. You can preview several at once. It never reaches the output.
- 1–4 put the graphic straight on air on that overlay layer. Layer 1 is the bottom, layer 4 is the top — e.g. a lower third on 2 and a corner bug on 4.
- Layers stack: several graphics can be live on the same layer at once, each fading in (500 ms) on top of what's already there. Turn each on and off by itself — nothing replaces anything unless you take it down.
- Click a lit number again to take that graphic off air. It stays up until you do.
- Clear program takes every layer down; Clear preview empties Preview. The L1–L4 tallies under the monitors show what's on each layer, with a small × to clear one.
Quick move
When a graphic on air covers something it shouldn't — a face, a scoreboard, another bug — pick Quick move from its three-dot menu. Drag the graphic straight on the Preview or Program monitor to reposition it; the live output only updates when you let go of the mouse, so viewers never see it sliding.
- While moving, the graphic gets a dashed outline and you can press arrow keys to nudge it 1 pixel (Shift + arrow for 10).
- Reset position puts it back where the template places it, and Done (or Esc) ends moving. A graphic can't be pushed fully off-screen — part of it always stays in view.
- The new position is saved to that one rundown row. Other rows and other shows using the same graphic keep their own placement.
Prev / Next
Rows with two or more saved presets show ◂ Prev and Next ▸ under the title. Stepping changes the text in place — if the row is on air, the new name appears without the graphic re-animating.
Editing text
Click a row to select it, then edit it in Live data. If the row is on air a red "Live" badge appears, because your typing changes the output immediately.
