1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Miri Technologies, Inc. (Miri, we, us, or our) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use miriGFX, our websites, and related support services.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide and information generated when the service is used.
- Account and organization information, such as name, email address, organization, role, invitations, and account settings.
- Content and production data, such as uploaded graphics, images, templates, show configuration, live fields, scoreboard data, playlists, and saved presets.
- Operational data, such as browser and device details, IP address, screen sessions, connection status, API activity, timestamps, errors, diagnostics, and security events.
- Billing and transaction records, such as plan, amount, payment status, renewal date, coupon, and receipt details. Payment processors handle full payment-card details; miriGFX does not store full card numbers.
- Communications, including support requests, invitations, transactional email status, and feedback.
- Connected-service data. If you connect Canva, we store encrypted OAuth credentials and access permitted folders and design metadata so you can choose content. We download only pages you select for import into your organization.
- Browser storage used to keep you signed in, remember the active organization and interface preferences, and maintain playout or device session state.
3. Camera and local media
Webcam and local video features are processed in your browser for preview, compositing, OCR, or output. Miri does not receive or store the live camera feed unless you explicitly upload a frame or file, save a reference image, or use a feature that clearly sends media for processing. Browser and operating-system permission controls govern camera access.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and operate miriGFX; authenticate users; manage organizations, plans, storage, screens, and permissions; render and distribute graphics; process selected imports; deliver support and service communications; secure and troubleshoot the service; measure reliability and usage; comply with law; and improve features.
5. Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, comply with legal obligations, and act on consent where requested. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis, without affecting prior processing.
7. Canva data
Canva authorization belongs to the individual user, not to Miri or the user’s organization. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. miriGFX requests permissions to read design metadata and content and, where enabled, folders. We use that access to browse authorized content and export the page the user selects. Disconnecting Canva removes the stored connection credentials; imported files already saved to an organization remain until deleted under that organization’s controls.
8. Retention and deletion
We retain information while an account or organization is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Retention periods vary by data type.
Organization deletion removes its shows, graphics, uploaded files, memberships, and active playout access. Transaction, acceptance, security, and legally required records may be retained. Backups and caches may take additional time to expire. Disconnecting an integration removes its active credentials but does not automatically delete content previously imported.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted connections, encrypted storage for connected-service credentials, tenant separation, and restricted administrative access. No internet service or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International processing
Miri and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for cross-border transfers. Privacy protections in those locations may differ from those in your country.
12. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, or appeal a request decision. Authorized agents may submit requests where law permits. We may verify identity and authority before responding.
To make a request, email sales@miri.tech. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
13. Children
miriGFX is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will post each revision with an effective date and revision history. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice or request renewed acceptance where appropriate.
